So disapointing!! My sons got Lightning and Doc Hudson for Christmas so they could use them on their Geotrax set. I have had this jeep for a month now and I have had no problems. It seems pretty durable. I had read a lot about needing a second battery or buying the quick charger, but in my experience I haven't needed one. Our kids ride it for 30 minutes or so every few days so I've only had to charge it once. I suppose if you had children that were going to ride it for hours every day a quick charger might be an option, but I suggest just trying it out first. If you need it, go to Walmart and pick up one. That way, you don't spend $40 on something you may not need.

This item is very very cute as you have come to expect from Fisher-Price. The plastic globe surrounding the animals inside is shiny, smooth, and sturdy. The critters inside have appealing expressions as does the little turtle who forms the knob on top.

My 8-month old has had this toy since he was about 3 months, and while it always catches his eye and attracts him, he does wind up losing interest rather quickly. He seems to understand that he is supposed to push down on the turtle/plunger mechanism, but it is SO hard to do! It's hard even for me. The resistance is much too much. And even with help to activate the spinning carousel inside, the bayb doesn't get to see it spin very freely or very long. It's like the whole mechanism is gummed up with something. Snap-n-Dress Abby is an excellent toy for young ones. It is very durable, Adorable and educational. My 22mo old daughter just Loves it. She even takes her in the bath.
