My 2 year old got this as a present to go with one of the bigger GeoTrax train sets. The tracks works perfectly with the bigger set and the ranch house is very cute. The train is a push train but it only took him a few minutes to figure out that he can put it in front of the battery operated GeoTrax engine to push it around the track. I don't know how long this set would hold a child's attention on it's own - the train would just go around in a small circle. But as part of a bigger GeoTrax set it is wonderful! Let me start out by saying that when I purchased this toy, I had relatively low expectations. Fisher-Price makes some great quality toys - their Little People products, for example, are very well-made, durable, and creative - but their licensed playsets have really been lacking in recent years. I can only assume that the licensing fees they have to pay to Nick Jr are so high that they don't have money left to spend on good materials. But anyway, even though I pretty much expected this playset to have a few problems, I figured we'd give it a try, as it just seemed so cute and we really wanted figures of Kai Lan and Tolee in their regular clothes.

Theoretically, this playset has so much for Kai Lan and Tolee to do... little ladders to climb, an elevator to travel up and down, a bed to sleep in, and even a suspended bucket to ride in. But my daughter couldn't actually do any of that, because pieces keep coming off! The poles that hold the string for the suspended bucket popped off for the first time literally two minutes after we had this out of the box, and the ladder and trapdoor by the elevator didn't take much longer to detach. I purchased this as a gift for my niece. She loves the Fisher Price Little People and has almost every set. While this toy is very cute (and of course she loves it), it is not worth the price of $50.00. The "shops" are very tiny. I also bought the Little People Christmas on Mainstreet this year. The villages were much bigger and it came with more Little People and accessories. I only paid $19.99 for this! I bought one of these Shake N Go animals after visiting a friend who had bought one. My daughter played with it the whole time she was there and I thought it would be a good idea to get her one as well. My daughter is[...] absolutely loves playing with this. She shakes and lets it go and squesls with delight and chases after it. I bought the Loving Family Dollhouse for my almost 4 year old twins for Christmas. This is one of the sets I bought them to go with it. After you press the oven button and it makes the bubbling noise, about 30 seconds after it is done making that noise, it makes the sound of a ringing phone. My kids were not really into all of the sounds, and I think that detered them from playing with it. The sounds are very loud, and you cannot distinguish between the stove sound, coffee brewing sound, etc.

The oven does have a light that goes on when you open it up, but it too makes a loud beeping sound, like a timer going off.

I think either some kids love it or hate it. Mine really didn't take to it, so I returned it for a kitchen that is wooden and makes no noise.

My 3 year old daughter received this minivan for Christmas and she loves it. However, we've put the backdoor on a half dozen times in 2 days because it easily comes off. This is a fast-charger is for TWO six-volt batteries that some of the older Power Wheels use.
It works well, and really speeds up charging so the kids can spend more time driving around, and less time waiting for the batteries to charge. It has a light that blinks green when charging, and lights solid green once the batteries are fully charged, which is helpful. However you still need to unplug the charger after a certain amount of time. The only improvement would be if the charger could automatically stop charging once the batteries are fully charged. Otherwise you have to babysit the charger or set a reminder so you don't forget. If you over-charge your batteries you will severely reduce their life.
