AT the time of purchase the Amazon frustration free packaging was cheaper than the reg packaging so that was a big bonus!

when my son opened this up at Christmas and we opened the box he was hooked from the start!! It was the forst present he opened and he played with it non-stop for a good 20 minutes before we reminded him he had more presents. He also keeps coming back to this over and over again.
I enjoy it's generous size for play that isn't way too big or bulky when not being played with. It has some fun working parts, like the lever that pushes out the front of the ship and life preservor shooting cannon gun. It is also great the way you can stand the guys in certain places, twist them and it will twist items, like the crane with working hook and winch.
Now my son does get frustrated with the crane because he wants so be able to pull the hook down to the bottom of the hold tank in the boat and hook the animals sometimes. It gets him really mad that he can't, but that is really not a big deal overall with such a cool toy I can see my son enjoying for many years. Please don't waste your money on this. my 4yr old was already using my CanonSD-10mp and was very comfortable using it w/o even dropping it once. My 2 year old daughter got this as a gift and loves it! We've not had any problems with ripped seams. You definitely need a pump to blow it up, though. It does deflate, but slowly, as any air-filled product will do. I'd say we've had to fill it every few days. Granted, my daughter is not rough and tumble, so maybe she's not using at hard as others and that's why it stays inflated. We bought an extra 200 balls and it fills the bottom well. It's also a very good size. We have it in our living room and I thought we'd be constantly putting it up and taking it down, but it's small enough that we aren't tripping over it all the time. All in all, I'd say this was a good product for the money and, again, my daughter is absolutely thrilled with it.
*** 6 MONTHS LATER : we've had two seam leaks since we got this, but were still able to fix it with epoxy. My daughter still loves it, but it's durability leaves something to be desired. My issue with this it's not as portable as a set of pretend keys should be. The big red button which triggers the music will keep going off if you keep it in a diaper bag (or toy box). I have been working in our basement and my son has been coming down to 'help Daddy'.

He LOVES the power tools, and hugs the battery drill I use to his chest (minus a bit, and minus a battery pack) as he walks around.

I bought this for my son after his "Laugh and Learn" puppy started to go on the blink. It is nice that this bear has an on/off switch on the front in addition to the one hidden in the back. My son really likes the lights and the music. The only complaint I have is the sensor for the paw with the shapes hasn't worked well from day one (it has to be pressed firmly, unlike the other paws). We probably got a defective paw, but my son gets really frustrated when he can't make the paw work for shapes and colors. Otherwise, it's a super cute and educational toy.

My son absolutely loves this toy! We bought it for him for his first birthday and it is by far his favorite. The only problem the I've had with it is

1-the top firetruck had a hole in it upon arrival. I didn't bother to send it back, the pit was what we really wanted and that was perfectly fine

2-the top part of the firetruck is attached with Velcro. It doesn't stay on at all. He uses it as a fort so at least he gets use out it.

We received this gift last year for a secret santa exchange, my son still plays with this thing EVERY SINGLE DAY!

He is 2 1/2 but received it when he was 1 1/2 and was still able to use it very well and enjoyed it.

My two year old wanted this toy when we were shopping for xmas. I found it on amazon for almost half the price. It got her in 3 days with free shipping. My daughter was so excited that she spent all day playing with it. The food actually "cooks" in the microwave. The mac and cheese pops over. The muffin raises up. Depending on the button it does it faster or slower. My 6 yr old and 4 yr old have joined her in the fun with their other kitchen toys and love having the microwave. Well worth the money. I had to take out 4 more screws inside, to remove the internal section (top left, top right, bottom left, bottom right), and also had to unplug the eyes, which are fixed into the casing.
Now you have to make sure you cut the right white wire, since there are 2 different ones plugged into a small plastic box with a metal piece sticking out, and another one pushed in. I cut the outermost white cable, and then it worked just fine with the high volume.
