My son got this toy for Christmas and we followed the instructions to download his name from the website into the toy...Not once did it download his name. It's downloaded everything from Rocky to Samantha, even though you have to type in the name to download. We tried several different times and it simply won't download the right name...which is really sad and definitely not personalized. Now we don't know how to remove the name and have to deal with it saying: Allapalla? That doesn't sound like "Evan" to me!

The toy itself is really cute, but don't waste your time and hurt your childs feelings by trying to download their name!

I got this for my 3.25 year old. It's only been a few days but we've been pleased. Some parts are specific enough to give him some direction as what to built, but then there are almost endless variations in how you combine the pieces. We do have to help him build to get it started but he's starting to do his own modifications. He'll fly the helicopter/space shuttle/rocket ship. The propellors spin; that's cool. Good open ended imaginary play. I like the fact that it can be more than one creation. I think it's a good size for his age--larger sized duplos/mega bloks are cumbersome and best for making buildings or stationary objects; legos are too tiny for his age, get all over, hard to keep track of. Im not sure why others rated this house so low. But all ive got to say is that you should look around for a coupon! Toys r us believe it or not had this toy for $25 and on top of that i had a buy one get one 50% off for lp sets. My 1 year old son LOVES this house! He loves to put the baby in the tub and flush the toilet. He constantly slams the house down to repeatedly poke the doorbell and also enjoys the phone. I think that as with all LP toys, he loves the actual people the most but i can see him enjoying this house more and more.

I WOULD recommend going on ebay for a better price and also to purchase extra individual LP figures to make the play more realistic :)

My daughters (4 1/2 and 18 months) recieved this Castle for xmas. It is simply adorable! The quality is really good. The music and lights are very cute. I wasn't so sure about the little people that came with it because they are a bit silly looking, but my 4 yr old didn't seem to care and she loves it! some of the pieces are too small for my 18 month old but she still enoys it. We just purchased this for my daughter who was two days shy of her first birthday. It is a fantastic toy for her. She was already pulling up and trying to push around anything she could. We have a few baby strollers that my 4 and 2 yr old play with but they are cheaply made and would roll out from underneath her when she tried to walk behind it. The only reason I have it 4/5 stars on durability is because it is all plastic and while it is well made I can see how long term use could weaken some points. At this point she doesn't really care that she can out a baby in it but with the encouragement of my 4 yr old she is understanding that something should go for a ride. She started playing with this stroller from the second she got it and still cracks up over the new independence. The only problem she has is when she attempts to walk backwards she does not let go of the handle and she pulls the whole thing back on top of her. As far as I can tell the stroller will hold up well. We have only had this item for a week but it is definitely a favorite. I love how much it is helping her learn the coordination to take steps while allowing her to play along with her older siblings. Son asked for walkie talkies for Christmas. Picked these up thinking it would serve the purpose for talking to his sister in an adjacent room.
