My daughter got this for her birthday in July. While she really enjoyed drawing with it, it hasn't lasted long. We initially thought that the batteries had worn out when it stopped working 2 months later. So, spent 3 bucks to get more batteries (4 AA batteries) and got out the phillips-head screwdriver. Changed the batteries, but it still doesn't work. Seems like there must be something wrong with the master switch (loose wires?) because the lights don't come on at all. Only flicker faintly if I wiggle the switch, but that's it. Poor quality toy -- this was not man-handled, but was played with gently by a 6-yr-old girl. It also has a poor storage plan for the stencils; they don't stay in the pockets. This toy should also NOT be considered as a travel toy -- directions with it recommend keeping it out of direct sunlight. I would assume that much like a Doodle Pro we had, it will warp in sunlight in a car. Seeing as how it is recommended for even younger ages, I do NOT recommend this toy at all.
