My 4-yr old granddaughter loves this toy. She always has to play baseball when she visits every other week. It helps her hand/eye coordination and helps teach her discipline and maybe a little patience. The toy appears to be sturdier than I thought as she hasn't hit the ball all the time and managed to knock it down a few times. I'm glad I purchased this toy.
