We bought this for my daughter's second birthday. Six months later she still plays with it every day. She loves the characters so that may be why. Yes, the changing function is kind of lame. The characters don't stay on the pegs at all. And the swing does frequently fall out but I fixed that quickly with a little super glue and it no longer is a problem.
