I have to say that had I not read the reviews before buying this for my daughter I would probably like this doll much less. However going into knowing that it would be difficult to download the software made the whole process much easier. It took three tries to download it from the dora links website (their serever kept dropping me). After reading other reviews I didn't even bother with the disc that comes with the doll. All in all I would say it only took about 30 minutes to get it downloaded and installed on my computer. I would say that Mattel is reading the reviews and trying to improve their site because when I tried to download it a couple of months ago it said it was going to take 4+ hours. My daughter has been playing with this online since Christmas and seems to have a good time with it. She is younger so she is not as into the whole going on adventures thing, but if she was I would be dissapointed that you have to buy more products to do more on the website. Hopefully by the time her intrest grows Mattel will have improved that aspect of their site as well!
