I bought this for my daughter last year at Christmas. The age limit was 12-36 months. My daughter was 14 months at the time. She wasn't ready for it yet. She couldn't steer it and the button was hard to hold and steer at the same time. She is now two and she rides it all over the place. I don't think it was a waste of money, but I probably would have waited to get it if I had known that she wouldn't have been interested in it right away.
