We bought this toy for our 3 1/2 year old and he loves it. The skeleton dinosaur head sometimes falls off and so does the railings and plants, but overall the mountain stays very well together. If your kid enjoys taking things apart and is too young to put together things on their own than this toy may not be fun for the kid. My son plays with it just fine with his dinosaurs, for he doesn't smash on it or pull it apart. When he gets older he will enjoy putting it together differently.
