I was so excited when I bought this playset for my 20-month old son at Christmas. It seemed so interesting and fun. For the most part it was. The sounds and the variety of ways to move the boulders is great. My only pet peeve is that Fisher Price changed the shape of the Little People. Now they are more anatomically accurate. Their legs can bend to sit and they can swivel at the waist. However, the figures' heads are so heavy, the figures are constantly toppling over. If you put one in the vehicle provided and push it, the figure falls out. If you place one as the operator of the crane, make sure to secure his hand to one of the handles or else he topples all over the place. I spend more time picking up the figures than the boulders! At least the previous version of the figures could be secured easily in their vehicles. My son doesn't even pay attention to the figures. The boulders and the crane suffice as the main attractions.
