We bought this set for our grandson for Christmas. His parents bought him the Kings Castle. He is almost 5 years old. He loved both sets but he had help from his father putting them together. He will eventually be able to put them together himself, but right now at his age he needs some assistance. This set will be something that he will play with for a long time.
