We received this for my daughter for Christmas (almost 2 yrs old) and she has plenty of fun stuffing the animals down the silo and pulling them out the bottom. She also loves to pull open the doors that make the animal sounds and moves the chicken back and forth. As far as educational value, it's minimal. Maybe when she gets older she will put the horse behind the door that makes the horse sounds, but not just yet.
I do have one big gripe with this toy. My niece also received this toy for her first birthday and we both have the same issue. The cow's door does not work very well or at all. My niece's cow door is stuck and only a 3+ yr old could figure out to pull much harder to unstick it to make a sound. My daughter's cow door worked for all of 3 minutes and now makes no sound at all.
Beyond that, not a bad toy. Durable, makes plenty of sounds, and the toys are much bigger these days so there is no choking hazard.Get more detail about Fisher-Price Little People Animal Sounds Farm.
