I first bought one for my 3 year old daughter. She is on it everyday! She loved it! So I bought one for my 5 year old niece and 6 year old nephew. They both loved theirs as well! Each figure takes them to a different website. Some games are just for fun and some are geared toward learning something. But, even the fun ones are actually teaching them to use a mouse and keyboard. As far as durability goes, my 3 year old is pretty rough on the "keys" while taking them in and out (the keys tend to be a little tough to pull out and put in) but they have lasted for her. This is my second mat with one child. I got the Infantino Monkey playmat for $[...] less and it was awful. This one is great. For added pleasure I took all the toys off the old one and put on this one. It has 4 uses. The two bars allow the baby to look and reach on his back, and the second bar has a kickball, or you can reverse baby when he gets bored. Also, it has a great tumy time set up, with most of the toys can transger from the bar to the fold up tummy time wall so he has a mirror and textures to play with. Also when he starts to crawl it turns into a tunnel. The mat is thin, but it is durable and easily wiped up if he "lets loose". Instant satisfaction for both me and the baby. I found this on sale at Target and bought it for my then 1 1/2 year old. She liked the concept, but none of the pieces of the ramps would stay together. The music and sounds of this toy are great, it gets baby's attention. Baby loves pulling the animals off the line and rolling them around. However, this only last a few minutes. Also, the toy will not go in a direct line. Ever. Period. It must be because the monkey on top is driving drunk. This is an OK toy. Baby plays with it a little, but it is far from his favorite. My husband got this for our son for Christmas and it is still one of his favorite toys. He has learned to "bite" the pigs nose to turn it on. This toy being across the room has encouraged him to crawl more. He gets very excited about the toy and knows it by the sound.

He has played with it in his highchair several times and loves to drop it to the floor and it's still going great as should any baby toy.

There is a definite gray area for this toy. It's not all good or bad. My son got this for Christmas when he was 8 months old and, frankly, I had t keep it out of his reach until he was a batter stander/walker, etc. Before he could get up on his own he would pull this over on himself and fall down, or try to lean on it and it would move too fast and get away from him making him fall on his face. He loved the toys on the front, but he couldn't resist trying to pull himself up on it and it just came to be more a pain than a pleasure. Somehow even when I made it into the wagon he would back himself in the head or something.

However, now that he is standing and walking all on his own at 11 months, we have busted the walker back out again and all is well. He loves the toys on the front, he is learning with the shape sorter, he walks to it from across the room and then turns around and brings it back. He's not coordinated enough yet to manage it when it runs into something, but he's getting there. It's great for older, more stable babies, but until then I wouldn't bother. I purchased the Jeep Rubicon for my 4 year old boy for xmas. Putting it together was pretty easy. I did not know if my son would be able to drive the jeep since he has never driven a motorized vehicle. My 4 year old drove the jeep with ease and after a few minutes had a full understanding on using low gear, high gear(faster than I thought)and reverse. My son loves driving it and he asks me all of the time if the weather is nice enough so he can drive the jeep. I am so glad I made this purchase!
