I bought this for my daughter remembering how much I liked the phone as a child. The plastic is very light weight which seems to cheapen the phone a bit. Also, the cord is only about a foot long so can't pull it along. I realize this must have been seen as a choking hazzard, but a shame. this gym it's really good, my baby loves it since she was 3 months old she plays with it and now that she is almost 6 month still like to play on it.
the lights and the sound are very good and she pays attention to them some time, it stimulate to her and sometimes when she is crying or kind of boring i put her there and she just start playing with all the things that the gym brings.

Another reviewer noted important differences between this garage and the one we know from years ago. However, I disagree with that reviewer's point about the ramps constantly coming off. Santa brought this toy in 2008. Either Fisher-Price updated the design or the previous reviewer assembled the ramps incorrectly (they snap solidly in place and are supported by the center post, assuming you put the post in the correct orientation). Either way, my son has used this garage for many hours over months and never have the ramps detached. I can't imagine how they could come off accidentally without something breaking. The garage is much bigger than the one from a generation ago. The ramp exits on the side (not the front of the garage), but in return you get an extra 3/4 turn worth of ramp over the old model. Also, there is a low divider down the center of the ramp, splitting it into two lanes. These lanes are the perfect size for Matchbox/HotWheels or Pixar (my son's favorite) cars. Little People cars straddle the divider easily to go down. My 2.5 year old little girl lives it. She loves to bounce and has figured out how to turn on the noise without needing to turn on the TV. Sometimes I think she prefers to use it without the TV. I don't know how I missed all the reviews that warned of the holes in the cups. This looks so cute and I was so excited and now I am looking at the OTHER tea set my granddaughter got for Christmas - a Fisher Price Laugh and Learn Say Please set with no holes in the cups and a delightful bubbling sound while pouring - much cuter that the sounds this set makes which is that musical whine.

Best feature of the Musical set - the tray and spoons. There are 4 cups (don't forget the cups have HOLES!!??).

Best feature of the Say Please set - much cuter teapot (with a "tea bag" in the "tea" inside the pot), and you can choose from 3 settings that change up what happens when you open the lid OR pour. It makes boiling sounds, pouring sounds, says please and thank you and other things. The 2 cups are cute, sturdy and actually hold "tea". Additionally, there is a little plate of really cute cakes to serve as well. One of the settings is for the cakes, which are shapes - a circle, a triangle and a square!

I got the "old" version of this, without the touch-and-feel animals, and my kids love it! Other than their wagon full of building blocks, this was their favorite gift at their one-year birthday. You just can't go wrong with Little People - chunky animals that are easy to hold and have zero little pieces or sharp corners to worry about. The animals have even held up well to all my kids chewing - I think a tiny bit of paint has come off the cow's nose, but really nowhere else - so I feel good they aren't ingesting things they shouldn't. The silo comes detached too easily, and I think we have had that stowed away in a closet almost since we got the toy. One of my 6 month old twins wound up in the hospital for a few days and the pediatric dept brought this aquarium to put on his crib. It immediately helped to put him to sleep.
