We bought this for my 2 1/2 year old son for Christmas and he ABSOLUTELY LOVES this!!! He spilled water on a few keys and they broke so we had to buy him another one - life was miserable when a few keys broke (my son's fault). I also have an 8 month old and he loves it too . . . even though he isn't "learning" his letters yet. My 2 1/2 year old actually takes this to bed because he is so attached to this!!! The screen has a back light so you can easily see the screen - I haven't found many that have this feature. We have an extra laptop hid away in case something happens to his laptop. It goes everywhere with him and it is VERY durable!!! It took my son 2 months to completely learn his alphabet. His little neighbor friends (2 little girls - ages 1 and 2) also love this laptop.
